Mary "Mags" Getz

Mags graduated high school from Coloma, on the west side of Michigan. She attended college in Ann Arbor and moved to Clinton in 2017. She has worked at CTPL since 2022, and lives in the village with her son, two dogs named Brut and Kirby, and a cat named Ernie.

Mags: The Community! I love our patrons and running programs.

"Why do you work at the Clinton Township Public Library?"

Mags: I work at the library because I believe in its mission and ma able to put my skills and interests to use in a way that makes me feel like I'm making a difference in the community. I also really love the family friendly environment and rapport with my coworkers.

"What is your first memory of CTPL"

Mags: Attending Storytime with Ms. Mary when my son was younger! It was the first time I felt included in the community after moving to Clinton from Ann Arbor when my son was born.
