With the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services latest orders, there are many requirements that have to be met in order to adhere to state and Local health regulations. The library administration and staff would like to thank you for your patience during this time of transition.

The library is in Phase 4 of our library services plan. Phase 4 includes limited in-library services in addition to curbside pickup.

Per the November 15th orders, the library will not be able to permit on-site group meetings of any kind between November 18 and December 9, 2020. Please check back with us after December 9th for future updates and/or policies.

Please note: in the interest of protecting our vulnerable community members, we are adhering to all local health regulations, including limiting occupancy to 15 individual patrons and requiring patrons to wear masks, sanitize their hands upon entry, and maintain 6 feet between themselves and others. Unfortunately, due to widespread community spread and regulations issued by the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services, if we face any resistance to our mask and hand sanitizing policies, the library will be forced to return to curbside services only. We ask every member of our community to please respect our efforts to protect our vulnerable staff and community members. Wear a mask or other covering over your mouth and nose while in our library. Thank you. Did you forget your mask at home? No worries. We are able to provide one at no cost.

A public computer is available to patrons on a limited basis for essential purposes such as accessing eHealth services, completing taxes, applying for housing or food aid, or submitting online school assignments.

Patrons may continue to request books for checkout by emailing their card number, name, address, phone number, and book requests to: requests@clinton.lib.mi.us. Alternately, patrons may phone in their requests on our general line (517-456-4141) or place a hold through our online catalog. Requested items will be available to pick up the next business day.

Please continue to place all returns (including DVDs and CDs) in a drop box for quarantine purposes.

Printing/copying/faxing services will be available both curbside/no-contact as well as in-library. Please bring change for payment.

As always, the public Wi-Fi is on and available outside the building 24/7. A friendly reminder: please maintain social distancing while using your devices.

Again, the staff of your Clinton Twp Public Library thanks you for your patience and adherence to our public safety measures.
